    Clearing the system configuration RBSU can be used to restore the factory default configuration. For more information, see "HP ROM-Based Setup Utility (on page 40)."     Connecting to the network To connect the HP BladeSystem to a network, each enclosure must be configured with network interconnect devices to manage signals between the server blades and the external network. Two types of interconnect modules are available for HP BladeSystem c-Class enclosures: Pass-thru modules and switch modules.

    Hardware options installation Introduction If more than one option is being installed, read the installation instructions for all the hardware options and identify similar steps to streamline the installation process. WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the drives and the internal system components to cool before touching them.

    • DIMMs must always be installed in pairs. • HP recommends installing DIMMs with the greatest capacity in the banks farthest from each populated processor first. • DIMMs installed in the same memory bank must have the same part nu mber.

    CSR part, HP will ship that part directly to you for replacement. There are two categories of CSR parts: • Mandatory—Parts for which customer self repair is mandatory. If you request HP to replace these parts, you will be charged for the travel and labor costs of this service.
