2. When the PC connection screen appears, touch Mass Storage, and then touch Done >
OK.
3. On your computer, the connected phone is recognized as a removable disk. Navigate to
this removable disk and open it.
4. Do one of the following:
Copy files from the computer to the root folder on the phone's storage card.
Copy files from the phone's storage card to a folder on your computer or computer
desktop.
5. After copying the files, unmount the removable disk (that is, the connected phone) as
required by your computer's operating system to safely remove your phone, and do
either of the following:
Disconnect the phone from the computer.
If you want to keep the phone connected to the computer but want the phone to be
able to access and use the storage card, open the Notifications panel, touch Mass
Storage, select an option other than Disk drive, and then touch Done.
Note: The phone will not recognize the microSD card when it is connected to a computer as a
disk drive. You will not be able to use some of the phone's applications such as the camera or
Music.

Transfer Files Between Your Phone and a Computer

You can use the supplied USB connector to connect your phone directly to your computer and
transfer music, pictures, and other content files. For example, if you have a music album stored
on your computer that you want to listen to on your phone with any of the music apps, just
attach your phone to the computer and copy the files to the music folder.
1. Connect your phone to your computer using the supplied USB/charging cable.
Insert the small end of the cable to the charger/accessory jack at the bottom of the
phone.
Insert the USB end of the cable into an available USB port on your computer. You
may need to remove the USB cable from the charging head to access it.
2. When
appears in the notifications area, touch the notifications bar to open the panel.
3. Touch Media Transfer > DONE.
To change the option, touch it in the notifications panel to open the PC connection
setting window, and then touch the desired option.
