Service Mode

Operation procedure of Service Mode is shown below.
1. Check that the front cover is open.
2. Turn ON the power switch while the Go button is held.
3. Check that Toner/Drum/Paper LEDs are lighted.
4. Release the Go button and check that all LEDs are out.
5. Press the Go button once or twice.
6. Check that Toner/Drum/Paper LEDs are lighted.
7. Press the Go button. (The mode changes every time the button is pressed.)

The procedure from 1 to 4 is the same as the above.
Number of times of pressing the Go button
Press the Go button for 2 seconds
(long push).
(Check that Paper LED is lighted.)
NOTE:
* Each mode starts 2 seconds after pressing the Go button.
* If the Go button is pressed, the Ready LED is lighted. If the Go button is released,
the LED is out.

(1) Factory Inspection Mode
(2) Continuous Grid Pattern Print Mode
(3) Fixing Unit Test Print
(4) NV-RAM Value Dump Mode
(5) RAM Check
* Check that all LEDs are out.
(6) Printing for Maintenance
(7) Print Settings
(8) Sleep Mode Indication
(OFF/Dimmed)
(9) Sleep Mode Setting (ON/OFF)
* Check that all LEDs are out.
(10) Developer Roller Counter Reset 1
(For the starter toner)
* Check that all LEDs are out.
(11) Developer Roller Counter Reset 2
(For the standard toner)
* Check that all LEDs are out.
