4-5 TRANSMITTER ADJUSTMENTS

The following adjustments must be performed at "ADJUSTMENT MODE" after "SWR DETECTOR" and "RECEIVER" ADJUST-
MENTS in the SECTION 4-3 and 4-4.
ADJUSTMENT
ADJUSTMENT CONDITIONS
TRANSMIT
1
• While pushing HM-135's DOWN key,
PEAK AND
[TX] and [RX] switches, turn power
TOTAL GAIN
ON.
(TX PEAK)
• Connect an audio generator to the
[MICROPHONE] connector and set
as:
Frequency
Level
• Push [1] swtich to enter the TX adjust-
ment mode (LCD displayed: "TX SET").
• Push [ENT] switch, then the transceiv-
er is transmitting.
(TOTAL GAIN)

• After setting 75 W, push the [ENT] key
to write the adjustment value in the
memory.
TX POWER

• LCD displayed :"TX POWER HIGH"
(HIGH)
• Set the audio generator as:
Frequency
Level

• After setting 140 W, push the [ENT]
key to write the adjustment value in
the memory.
(MIDDLE)

• LCD displayed :"TX POWER MID"
• Set the audio generator as:
Frequency
Level

• After setting 70 W, push the [ENT] key
to write the adjustment value in the
memory.
(LOW)

• LCD displayed :"TX POWER LOW"
• Set the audio generator as:
Frequency

• After setting 20 W, push the [ENT] key
to write the adjustment value in the
memory.
TUNE

• LCD displayed :"TX POWER TUNE"

• Set the audio generator as:

• After setting 10 W, push the [ENT] key
to write the adjustment value in the
memory.
