The machine is not
turned on.
Cannot start Remote

Cause
The machine was plugged in within 60
seconds after pulling out the plug.
• The machine is turned off.
• The machine is not connected to
your computer.
• The machine is in Auto PowerDown
mode.
• An error is occurring.
• The machine is scanning.
Suggestions
Turn off the machine, wait 60 seconds, and then
turn on the scanner.
• Turn on the machine and then try again.
• Connect the machine to your computer and then
try again.
• Press any key or open the Top Cover, and then
try again.
• Clear all errors and then try again.
• Wait until scanning has finished and try again.
