j SPEAKER switch
Set this to ON to output sound from the built-in speaker.
Even when ON, no sound will be output in the following situations.
• When recording and in recording standby (video/audio)
• When headphones or another device is connected to the
OUT port
k HOLD switch
Setting this switch in the direction of the arrow, enables the hold
function that prevents accidental operation. In this state, all other
buttons are disabled.
l Battery compartment cover
; Battery compartment
Install batteries (3 AA) in this compartment to power the unit. (See "Using
AA batteries" on page 29.)
