notifications. Other alternatives for device
management include Xerox Plug and Print

Barcode Utility. Other device management
software for integrating with existing network
administrative management tools include
Novell NDPS/NEPS, CentreWare for
Unicenter TNG, Tivoli NetView, MC for
Microsoft Management Console (MMC) and
HP OpenView.

proactively manage print devices across an
entire enterprise – no matter who built them.
It fits with existing infrastructure and work
processes. It integrates directly with Microsoft
Active Directory seamlessly with no special
desktop software needed. You can view network

In addition, you can remotely detect and
diagnose network printing problems quickly and
accurately, providing detailed printer alert status
and reports. CWW provides real-time
feedback and wizards that guide you
through a number of critical processes
including installation, troubleshooting,
upgrading, cloning and more.
• SMart eSolutions is a Xerox software solution that enables customers to automatically report
usage and order replacement supplies. The MeterAssistant utility automatically collects and
submits device meter reads to Xerox, using a built-in audit process to increase billing
accuracy. SuppliesAssistant proactively manages toner supplies and monitors usage to
ensure you have the right supplies at the right time.
