Advanced audio properties are entirely optional. Users might want to modify
these settings to improve sound quality based on personal preferences.
Advanced audio settings are accessed from the Cisco IP Communicator
right-click menu (Preferences > Audio > Advanced...) and are described in
Table
4-3.
You can find more information about voice quality issues in the troubleshooting
section of the Cisco IP Communicator User Guide.
Purpose
Use this menu to select an audio mode: Headset, Handset, or
Speakerphone. This is the audio mode to which any changes you make
in this window will apply when you click Apply. (If you click Apply to
all, the changes that you make apply to all audio modes.)
