The number of
the caller is not
displayed in spite
of CLIP
(see page 11).

cause
The batteries are
empty.
The key lock is
switched on.
The handset is
outside the
range of the
base unit.
The handset is
not registered
with the base
unit.
The base unit is
not switched on.
Number trans-
mission is
disabled.
Possible
solution
Charge or
replace the
batteries.

Hold down the
key.
Reduce the dis-
tance between
the handset and
the base unit.
Register the
handset with the
base unit
(see page 13).
Check the power
plug on the base
unit
(see page 6).
The caller must
apply to the
network provider
to have his or her
number trans-
mitted.
