Open the lid and fill the container with cold, clean
drinking water to within about 1" (2 cm) of the top.
A valve in the base of the container will ensure
that no water can escape.
Close the lid and place the container in the ma-
chine, pushing it straight to the back.
The container should now be sitting flat on the
floor of the machine.
Only put espresso or coffee beans in the con-
tainer. Anything else, including ground coffee, hot
cocoa, or instant coffee could damage the grinder.
Only use pure coffee beans. Do not use coffee
beans treated with caramel, any kind of sugar or
anything else. Do not remove the coffee bean con-
tainer from the appliance unless it is completely
empty, otherwise coffee beans will spill out.
@KLOTZ = Carefully pull the container out as far
as it will go, so that the lid is fully visible. Lift the lid.
Fill the container with coffee beans to within about
1" (2 cm) of the top.
Close the lid and push the container back into
place.
Shut the appliance door.
