the approximate amount of remaining film.

Replacing the film or film cartridge

When the unit detects the end of the film, the following message will be displayed.
Display:
FILM NEAR EMPTY
FILM EMPTY
The following are available for replacement.
KX-FA135X: Film cartridge (1 cartridge and 1 film)
KX-FA136X: Replacement film (2 films)

Slide the cover open lever forward.

The cover is under tension to improve print quality.
Pull up hard enough to open.

Remove the film cartridge.
If you have purchased a film cartridge (Model no.
KX-FA135X) for replacement, go to step 10.
To replace only the film, go to step 4.

Unlock the four gears by (
gears (blue and green gears) forward and (
pushing back the bottom side gears (green gears).
Remove the used film.

Remove the four gears from the used film cores.
Caution:
The film is not reusable. You can order a new film
for replacement through your nearest Panasonic
dealer.

print up to 20 pages of A4 size documents. Prepare a new film or film
cartridge for replacement.
The remaining film prints about 10 pages of A4 size document.
