9.4. Audio settings

Press the control button
menu item.

The "More Aud" menu with the following sub-items and
the current settings for each sub-item will now be dis-
played on the television screen:
Language
Video
Prologic
Off
Digital Out
Raw
Pink Noise
Off

Setting Prologic

The "Prologic" menu sub-item is the first to be automati-
cally selected. Press the "OK" button once. The available
options for the "Prologic" sub-item will be displayed on
the television screen:
Off
Set "Off" if an amplifier, receiver or HiFi system not com-
patible with Dolby Prologic is connected to the analog
stereo output ("FL" and "FR" chinch sockets) of the DVD
Player
On
Set "On" when an amplifier, receiver or HiFi system com-
patible with Dolby Prologic is connected to the analog
stereo output (via chinch cable in the "FL" and "FR" chinch
sockets) of the DVD Player, as described in the Chapter
"Connecting a HiFi System". In this instance it will be
additionally necessary to set "Stereo Downmix" in the

speaker settings.

For this subject please refer to Chapter 9.4. "Audio Set-
tings: Setting Speaker Sizes – Stereo-Downmix".

options "On" and "Off". Confirm the choice by pressing
the "OK" button once.

Setting Digital Output

Press the control button
sub-item "Digital Output". Press the "OK" button once to
confirm. The options available for the sub-item "Digital
Output" will be displayed on the television screen:

Set to „Raw", if you have connected a multi-channel digital
audio component, for e.g. a Dolby Digital or DTS receiver
or a 5.1 channel surround system to the DVD player via a
coaxial cable.

Set to „PCM", if you have connected a two-channel digital
audio component to the DVD player via a coaxial cable.
Off
Set "Off" if no digital audio components have been con-
nected to the DVD Player.

Select with the control buttons
options "Raw", "PCM" and "Off". Press the "OK" button once
to confirm the choice.

Press the control button
OSD menu bar, and then press the "Setup" button once
to fade out the OSD menu.
