Name the system.
Confirm that you want to create the Conventional System.
The HomePatrol‐1 now provides a menu for system
settings.
Edit Name – Allows you to change the name of the
system
Edit Department – Lets you create or edit departments to
hold channels for the system.
Copy System – Copies the entire system. This is useful if
you want to make a similar system later.
Delete System – Deletes the system from the Favorites
List.
Creating a Department
From the system menu, select Edit Department.
Create a Department to contain channels.
Name the Department.
The HomePatrol‐1 presents a menu for Department
settings.
Edit Name – Lets you change the Department's name.
Edit Channel – Allows you to edit or add channels for the
Department.
Set Location – Lets you set the geographic boundaries for
the department. This is used for location‐based channel
selection.
