Enter a name for the session.
When you tap Accept, the discover session menu appears.
Set Discovery Name – allows you to change the name of
the discovery session.
Delay: ‐‐ tap to change how long the HomePatrol‐1 will
pause after a transmission ends
this session.
Logging – select one of the following:
All: All channels are logged, even if they are not
new channels.
New Only: Only new channels are logged.
Compare to Database – select On to compare channel
grants against the channels already in the database; only
new channels will have audio recorded. Select Off to
treat all channel grants as new channels.
Record Duration – set how much audio will be recorded
for each new channel.
Time‐Out Timer – set the maximum duration of any
single transmission before the HP‐1 resumes to check for
other channel activity.

Tap Start to start the discovery session.
To stop the discovery session, press END. The
HomePatrol‐1 then goes to the Review Discovery Mode
