Battery Operation

This item explains operation with the battery.
1 Disconnect the AC adaptor and
switch on the main switch.
Slide the main switch in the direction of the
arrow ( side).

Critical Point
When the ambient temperature is lower, the battery operating time is reduced.
With this computer, the battery operating time depends on the conditions under which the
battery is used. However, the operating time of a new, fully-charged battery is about 3 hours*.
* : About 6 hours when an extension battery pack is installed.
Condition: No optional equipment is connected with the computer and the power saving function
is activated by the BIOS Setup menu, etc. (the above-mentioned operation hours of the battery
is just a standard, and it varies depending on the operating condition).
Main switch
2 When the MAIN switch is on, press
the SUS/RES switch.
SUS/RES switch
stops flashing and stays lit up.
