SAFETY INFORMATION AND WARNINGS
WARNING:
This electric tool is manufactured in
accordance with the relevant safety
requirements. To assure safety and
reliability, all repairs should be performed by
an Authorised Service Centre or other
Qualified Service Organisation.
Please also pay particular attention to the
following "Special Safety Rules".
This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a
hazard.

SPECIAL SAFETY RULES

Always wear safety eye wear, ear and
respiratory protection when operating the
circular saw.
Do not fit grinding discs to this circular saw.
Always use the correct type of blade for the
operation to be carried out.
Only use blades of the size recommended by
the supplier.
Always keep the blade securing arbor and
collars clean.
Only use blades in a good clean condition.
Do not stop the blade by using a sideways
pressure or by forcing the circular saw.
Only use blades rated for this circular saw. The
rotational speed (rpm) shown on the blade
should always be higher than the 'No Load
Speed' (rpm) of the circular saw.
Ensure that the directional arrow on the blade
matches the direction of the motor. The blade
teeth should always point up when viewed
from the front of the circular saw.
Never use blades that are larger than
specified by the supplier.
Do not use blades made from high speed
steel.
Do not use blades that are bent or missing
teeth. This could cause injury to both the user
and bystander.
Before using the circular saw allow the blade
to run up to speed.
Never lock the moving guard in the open
position.
Always ensure that movable guards operate
freely without jamming.
If the circular saw makes an unfamiliar sound
or vibrates excessively, switch the circular saw
'OFF' immediately and disconnect from the
mains power supply. Investigate the possible
cause or consult your authorised service
facility.
Do not start the circular saw with the blade in
contact with the work piece.
Always check the work piece for any
protruding nails, screw heads or anything else
that may damage the blade.
Ensure that there are no obstructions
underneath your work piece. It is easy to cut
into sawhorses and bench tops.
Always carry the circular saw using the
handle.
Never use a circular saw when standing on a
ladder. If additional height is required a stable
platform or approved scaffold must be used.
Never use your circular saw upside down.
Never clamp your circular saw to a bench or
other device. IT IS A HAND HELD TOOL.

OPERATION

CAUTION
Always be sure that the tool is switched off
and unplugged before carrying out any
work on the tool.
ADJUSTING THE DEPTH OF THE CUT AT 90°
The depth of the cut is the distance between the
base of your saw and the highest point located
on the saw blade.
To adjust the cutting depth, loose the lever on
