Copy a sound from your PC to your phone
After a sound file is located on your phone, you can use it for a ring tone. Sound files in .wav, .mid, mp3
or .wma formats can be used.
1.
Connect the phone to your PC using a USB connection.
2.
On your PC, copy the sound file you want.
3.
In ActiveSync on your PC, click Explorer and double-click My Windows Mobile-Based Device.
Do one of the following:
To save the sound file on your phone, double-click Application Data, double-click Sounds, and
paste the file into Sounds folder.
To save the sound file on your storage card, double-click Storage Card, and paste the file into
the folder you want.

Profiles

View the list of profiles
You can store a set of parameters and options for your phone in what is known as a "profile". By developing
and selecting a profile you will be establishing the baseline features of operation for the phone.

From the Home screen, press the left soft key
Select Settings and press OK.

Scroll to Profiles and press OK.

Edit a profile
To edit a profile you've already created, you will open that profile, change its settings, and save it again with
the same name.
On the Home screen, use the up and down Navigation Keys to select Profile and press OK.

Select the profile to edit.
Press the right soft key [Menu] and select [Edit] from popup menu.

Modify the settings and press [Done].

To cancel without saving changes, press Cancel.

TIP: To revert to the default profile settings, Select a profile and press [Menu] [Reset] to default.
Change the current profile
If you have more than one profile on your phone, there are two simple methods of changing to another
profile.
On the Home screen, use the up and down Navigation Keys to select Profile and press OK.

Change the home screen appearance
On the Home screen, click [Start] [All Programs] [More] [Settings] [Home Screen].

Under Home screen layout, Color scheme, and Background image, selects the options you want.

Under Time out, select the length of time you want the Home screen to be displayed if you are not

using the device, and click Done.
