Loosen the two jack screws, then, using a
scrap wood block, push the knife blade down
until both ends are sightly below the straight-
edge.

Using the 4mm hex wrench, turn each jack
screw clockwise

each end of the knife touches the straight-
edge evenly.

Rotate the cutterhead without disturbing the
knife clamp to check the knife height.
—If the knife moves the straight edge slightly

knife height is set correctly.
—If the knife does not move the straightedge

continue to make fine adjustments with the
jack screws until the knife is set correctly.

When the knife height is set correctly, firmly
tighten each of the knife clamp screws.
When the clamp is set firmly, tighten the jack
screws.

The Model G0612 creates substantial amounts
of wood dust while operating. DO NOT oper-
ate this machine without an adequate dust
collection system. Failure to use a dust col-
lection system can result in short and long-
term respiratory illness.

To Install the dust collection chute and bag:
1. Install the dust chute as shown in Figure 19.
