Diagnosis and error management

The electronic system offers diagnostic information to support the service technicians in detecting
and managing errors within the scooter system. The status indicator flashes repeatedly if an error
occurs, then pauses and flashes again. The type of error is indicated by the number of flashes in
each sequence, also called 'identify flash code'.
The electronic system reacts in different ways depending on the severity of the error and its effects
on user safety. It can e.g. ...
simply display the identify flash code as a warning and allow driving and normal operation
to continue;
display the identify flash code, stop the scooter and shut it down until the electronic system
is switched off and then switched back on again;
display the identify flash code, stop the scooter and make the continuation of the journey
impossible until the error is rectified.
Detailed descriptions of the meaning of the individual identify flash codes including the possible
cause and error management can be found in section "Error Codes and Diagnostic Codes" on
page 26.
