MOTOR STARTING CAPACITOR REPLACEMENT

- 7 CUP FOOD PROCESSORS -
To replace the motor starting capacitor for the 7 cup food
processor:
The following replacement procedure is
NOTE:
described with the motor housing turned
on its side on a cushioned surface and the
motor starting capacitor oriented down.
1.
Unplug the power cord and remove the housing base.
2.
Disconnect the red wire/connector from the top/LH
motor starting
terminal on the
motor. The other terminal on the LH side will not have any
connection.
3.
Disconnect the blue wire/connector from the bottom/RH
motor starting
terminal on the
safety switch. The safety switch is attached at the
inside/top of the motor housing.

Disconnect the blue wire/connector from the top/RH

top/LH side of the adapter that is plugged into the relay

Remove the

If needed for the new capacitor, retain the
