Make sure to check the front and back of the paper. Place the glossy surface

If you use glossy photo paper, make sure that the paper type setting is correct.

Select A3 (Long Grain) size paper in Paper Size in the Basic tab of the
printer driver.
Check Slow Drying Paper in the Basic tab of the printer driver.
(PC print for Macintosh user)
Select A3 (Long Grain) size paper in Paper Size of the printer driver.
Select Print Settings from drop-down list and then check Slow Drying Paper
of the printer driver.

Suggestions
You probably had a bad connection, with static or interference on the telephone
line. Ask the other party to send the fax again.
problem is with the sending machine. Try receiving from another fax machine.
Replace the colour ink cartridges that have reached the end of their life, and then
ask the other person to send the colour fax again.

Make sure the machine is plugged in and turned on.
Check the line cord connections.

Lift the external telephone's handset and listen for a dial tone. If there is no dial
tone, ask your telephone company to check the line and/or socket.
