Italian Toasted Sandwich
2 slices sourdough bread
1 tablespoon basil pesto
50g salami, sliced
¼ cup grated cheddar cheese
Fresh basil leaf, to garnish
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1.Preheat oven to 210°c using the ToAST
setting. Place wire rack on middle shelf in
the raised position
2.Spread pesto over the sourdough. Top with
salami and grated cheese.
3.Place toast on rack with the drip tray
below. Place in oven and toast for 3-4
minutes or until the cheese is melted and
golden. Serve hot.
TIP: These are also yummy with the addition
of tomato.
