Troubleshooting

The solutions herein are for problems when printing
without using a computer.

Error/Warning Messages

You can diagnose and solve most problems by
checking the error messages on the LCD screen. If
you cannot solve the problems, by checking the
messages, use the following table and try the
recommended solution.
PictureMate beeps or bleeps when an error occurs.
For details on the error sounds, see page 50.
Error Messages
A printer error has
occurred. See your printer
documentation.
Solution
Turn PictureMate off and then back on.
If the error message still appears,
contact your dealer.

PicturePack low. Replace
PicturePack soon.
Replace the PicturePack.
Service required. Parts
inside your printer are near
the end of their service life.

Re-insert adapter.
PictureMate PM 240 / PM 280
Solution
Press the right soft key to clear the error.
Prepare the new PicturePack.
If you tried to clean the print head,
replace the PicturePack first.
