Making cellular calls

Important:
R Only 1 cellular line can be used at a time.
R Before making calls, confirm that corresponding
CELL indicator lights up (page 15).

Dial the phone number.

Press the desired cellular line key (MCELL 1N
to MCELL 4N).

When the other party answers, speak into the
microphone.

When you finish talking, press MZN.
Note:
R While on a call, you can switch from the base
unit to the handset:
With the call sharing mode on (page 28),
press MCELLN on the handset. a MbN: Select
the desired cellular phone. a MSELECTN a
Press MZN on the base unit.
– When only 1 cellular phone is paired or the
line is set to make cellular calls (page 20),
press MCELLN on the handset, then press
MZN on the base unit.
If the handset is on the base unit, simply lift it.
Adjusting the speaker volume
Press MDN or MCN repeatedly while talking.
Making a cellular call using the redial list
The last 10 phone numbers dialed are stored in
the redial list (each 48 digits max.).

MbN: Select the desired phone number.

Press the desired cellular line key (MCELL 1N
to MCELL 4N).

Making landline calls

Dial the phone number.

R An available line is automatically selected
and either the LINE 1 indicator or LINE 2
indicator lights up. To change the line
selection mode, see page 16.
R You can also select the line manually by
pressing MLINE 1N or MLINE 2N.

Pause (for PBX/long distance service users)
A pause is sometimes required when making calls
using a PBX or long distance service. When
storing a calling card access number and/or PIN in
the phonebook, a pause is also needed
(page 34).
Example: If you need to dial the line access
number "9" when making outside calls with a PBX:

9 a MPAUSEN

Dial the phone number. a MZN
Note:
R A 3.5 second pause is inserted each time
MPAUSEN is pressed.

Answering calls

Press MZN when the unit rings.
R You can also answer the cellular call by
pressing the desired cellular line key
(MCELL 1N to MCELL 4N).
N on the handset, then press MZN
