1. Differences between FC-100 and Fe-
100 MKII
With the GP-16, either the FC-1 00 or FC-100 MKli can
be connected and used, but there are functional dilfer-
ences depending on the model. Referto the chart below
for such differences.

3. Foot controller functions
Through connecting an FC-100 or FC-100MKII foot
controller to the GP-16, not only will you be able to
change palches using your foot. but you also can have
control over a variety of other lunctions convenienl
during actual perlormance.
a. Use of the Control pedal
Ordinarify it is used as a mute pedal.
When the foot controller's Control pedal is depressed,
and while the control indicator is
lit,
no signals are output
trom either the output (phone) Jacks, or balanced (XLR)
connectors on the GP-16.
When not playing, you can use this pedal to prevenl
noise when changing guitars, or to silence mistakes.
Either press the Control pedal again when tuning using
Ihe tuner-use Signal Oul, or use the pedal lor selecting
a patch; it wililhen be released.

h. Use 01 the expression pedal
Through connection of an expression pedal (EV-5; op-
tional), the values tor a specified parameler can be
changed during pertonmance by pressing the pedal

First, tor each palch, specify the parameler which you
wish to control using the pedaL Then sel the range 01
change by setling the maximum value (value when
pedal is lully depressed) and the minimum value (when
pedal is released). The parameters which are available
lor use in this way are all those included in the effect on
state, and master volume.
