Setting notifications
1. Tap Messages from the launcher.
2. Press and tap Settings.
3. Adjust the following setting options.
Notifications: Displays a notification in the status bar
when a message is delivered. The check box is selected
by default.
Select ringtone: Sets a ringtone for incoming
messages.
Vibrate: Sets the vibrate mode for incoming messages
to Always, Only when Vibrate mode, or Never.

Managing contacts

Creating contacts
1. Tap Contacts from the applications menu.
2. Tap .
3. Enter related information and tap Save.

Registers a photo.
Enters a name, phone number, or email address;
set a ringtone; or select a group.
Editing contacts
1. Tap Contacts from the applications
menu.
2. Tap a contact.
Tap to designate the contact
as a favorite.
Tap to edit the contact.
3. Edit information and tap Save.
Deleting contacts
1. Tap Contacts from the launcher.
2. Press and then tap Delete.
3. Tap contacts.

Importing/Exporting contacts information
1. Tap Contacts from the launcher.
2. Press and tap Import/Export.
3. Select and tap an item.
Import from SIM card: Imports contacts from the SIM
card to the phone.
