Removal:
The battery ( ) is behind the left side cover. 1
1. Make sure the ignition switch is OFF.
2. Remove the left side cover (page
3. Remove the battery holder ( ) by
removing the bolt ( ). 3
4. Disconnect the negative ( ) terminal
lead ( ) from the battery first, then 4
disconnect the positive ( ) terminal lead
( ). 5
5. Pull out the battery.
Installation:
1. Reinstall in the reverse order of removal.
Be sure to connect the positive ( )
terminal first, then the negative ( )
terminal.
2. Check all bolts and other fasteners are
secure.
