Rear Wheel Removal
Refer to the Safety Precautions on page
1. Raise the rear wheel off the ground by
placing a support block under the engine.
2. Remove the rear brake adjusting nut ( ).
3. Disconnect the brake rod ( ) from the
brake arm ( ) by pushing down on the 3
rear brake pedal.

4. Remove the rear axle nut ( ) and loosen
69 . the lock nuts ( ) and drive chain
adjusting nuts ( ).
5. Remove the rear axle shaft ( ), drive
chain adjusters ( ), axle washer ( ), and
1 side collar, then remove the drive chain
2 ( ) from the driven sprocket by pushing 10
the rear wheel forward.
6. Remove the rear wheel f rom the
(2) motorcycle.
