    R6200v2 Smart WiFi Router Internet Setup The Internet Setup screen is where you view or change basic ISP information. Note: You can use the Setup Wizard to detect the Internet connection and automatically set up the router. See Internet Connection Setup Wizard on page 31.

If the NETGEAR website does not display within one minute, see Chapter 10, Troubleshooting. The following descriptions explain all of the possible fields in the Internet Setup screen. The fields that display in this screen depend on whether tan ISP login is required.

    Note: The preset SSID and password are uniquely generated for every device to protect and maximize your wireless security. NETGEAR recommends that you do not change your preset security settings. If you change your preset security settings, make a note of the new settings and store it in a safe place where you can easily find it.

    Name (SSID). The SSID is also known as the wireless network name. Enter a 32-character (maximum) name in this field. This field is case-sensitive. The default SSID is randomly generated, and NETGEAR strongly recommends that you do not change this setting.
