Adjusting the video picture – tracking
Please note...
Tracking adjustment will be carried out
automatically when a new tape is played. You can
instruct the video tape recorder to carry out such
an automatic tracking adjustment any time during
playback via the Beo4 remote control. In a few
instances, however, a more thorough adjustment
of the picture may be necessary...
Streaks in the picture or noise in the
sound may be due to imprecise
tracking of the video tape. This is seen
most often when you play back prere-
corded tapes or tapes recorded on
another video tape recorder.
You can carry out tracking adjustment
at any time during normal playback.
You can adjust any jitter (vertical
flitter) occurring in a still picture when
the video recorder is paused and the
still picture is on the screen.
To adjust the video picture, you must
call up the V.Tape Adjust menu and
adjust as required.
