Troubleshooting
Problem
The engine overheats.

2. Add oil to the crankcase.
3. Remove the obstruction from the
cooling fins and air passages.
4. Clean or replace the air cleaner
element.
5. Contact an Authorized Service Dealer

Move the blade control switch to
Disengaged.
Move the motion control levers outward
to the park position.
Sit on the seat.
Charge the battery.
Check the electrical connections for
good contact.
Replace the fuse.
Contact an Authorized Service Dealer.
Fill the fuel tank.
Move the choke lever to On.
Clean or replace the air cleaner
element.
Install the wire(s) on the spark plug.
Install a new, correctly gapped spark
plug(s).
Replace the fuel filter.
Contact an Authorized Service Dealer.
Drain the tank and replace the fuel with
the proper type.
Add oil to the crankcase.
Reduce ground speed.
Clean the air cleaner element.
Add oil to the crankcase.
Remove the obstruction from the
cooling fins and air passages.
5. Install a new, correctly gapped spark
plug(s).
6. Open the vent in the fuel cap.
7. Replace the fuel filter.
8. Contact an Authorized Service Dealer.
9.
Drain the tank and replace the fuel with
the proper type.
