Error Messages

In addition to alarm messages your equipment displays error messages to alert
you to probable equipment trouble
.
Error message
COMMUNICATION ERROR
INSTANT POWER FAIL IS
OCCURRED
RUDDER ANGLE ERROR
RUDDER DRIVE ERROR
DRIVE UNIT ERROR. PLEASE
TURN OFF AND CHECK DRIVE
CIRCUIT.
DRIVE UNIT IS OVERLOADED.
PLEASE TURN OFF AND
CHECK DRIVE CIRCUIT.
DRIVE UNIT IS OVERHEATED.
BYPASS/CLUTCH IS
OVERLOADED.
DISCONNECT B/C
FU REMOTE CONTROLLER
ERROR
MISSING HEADING DATA
HEADING DATA ERROR
MISSING NAV DATA
DEGRADATION OF NAV DATA
QUALITY

Error messages
Meaning
Communication between the control
unit and the processor unit is
interrupted for more than two
seconds.
Power supply was interrupted for
more than two seconds.
The rudder angle sent from the
rudder reference unit exceeded 55°.
The rudder did not move more than
1.5° over five seconds after rudder
command.
Current of more than 1.5 A was
detected on the drive circuit without
rudder command.
Overcurrent was detected.
80°C temperature in drive unit was
detected.
Current of more than 1.6 A was
detected on the bypass/clutch
circuit.
No current on the bypass/clutch
circuit.
Command from the FU remote
controller exceeded 55°.
The heading data from the heading
sensor is missing for 600 ms.
Heading data with error flag was
detected three times continuously.
The navigational data has been
interrupted for more than 15
seconds.
The navigation data was
incomplete.
The navigation data included an
error flag.
Remedy
Check the interconnection
cable between control unit
and processor unit.
Press any key on the control
unit.
Check
the
drive
motor,
bypass valve/clutch.
Check the control unit and
processor unit connections..
Check the bypass circuit.
Check the drive circuit.
Check the drive unit system.
Check
the
bypass/clutch
circuit.
Check the remote controller
connection.
Check the heading sensor
and interconnection cable..
Check the heading sensor.
Check the navigator.
Check the navigator settings.
