Since front passenger air
bag triggering and the po-
sition of a rear-facing child
seat are incompatible, NEVER fit a
rear-facing child seat in this posi-
tion unless the vehicle is fitted with
a front air bag deactivation device.
The child may suffer very serious in-
juries if the air bag inflates.
