System Board: Dell Latitude V710/V740 Service Manual
NOTICE:
Secure the modem-cable grounding terminal to the system board with one of the six M2.5 x 4-
mm screws labeled "circle L." Failure to do so may result in damage to the computer.
NOTE:
The M2.5 x 4 screws are
silver.
f. Reinstall the six M2.5 x 4-mm screws labeled "circle L," starting on the right side of the bottom
case.

g. Reinstall the hard drive cage, and reinstall the two M2.5 x 5-mm screws that secure the hard drive
cage to the system board.
h. Reinstall the floppy drive cage, and reinstall the two M2.5 x 5-mm screws that secure the floppy
drive cage to the system board.
2. Replace the speakers.
3. Replace the
microprocessor
old system board.
