    NC-400D PRINTER DRIVER for Windows NC-400D PRINTER DRIVER for Windows 1. Exif Viewer Exif Viewer is an image viewing application that provides an Explorer-like user interface for quick and convenient browsing of image files stored in folders. Exif Viewer also features an index printing function that lets you print indexes (lists of thumbnail images) for specified images.
  • Page 5 NC-400D PRINTER DRIVER for Windows Click the “Recording” tab. The “Enable CD Recording on this drive” checkbox should be ticked. Deselect this checkbox. ☞ Deselecting this checkbox disables the function that allows you to write data to a C AUTION CD-R or CD-RW disk.

    NC-400D PRINTER DRIVER for Windows INSTALLING Exif Viewer Load the enclosed CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive of the Windows PC that will use the printer. The installer window automatically appears. If the installer window does not appear, run the “SETUP.exe” program on the CD-ROM.

    NC-400D PRINTER DRIVER for Windows USING Exif Viewer 1.2-1 Launching Exif Viewer and an Exif Viewer Overview From the Windows Start menu, click “Programs (P)” “Exif Viewer” When you select a folder in the left-hand pane, thumbnails of the images in that folder are displayed in the right-hand pane.

To close the image window, click the window. Marquee tool: Allows you to specify an area on-screen that you want to crop.

    NC-400D PRINTER DRIVER for Windows 1.2-2 Viewing Images Selecting the folder Select the desired folder by clicking it in the folder tree display area in the Main Window. The images in that folder are then displayed. Clicking the to the left of the folder shows a drop-down display of the folders contained in the selected folder.

Also, by clicking the (I)” menu, you can switch to the free scroll mode which allows you to move the image around inside the window by dragging it around with the mouse.

    Printing When you select the image and click the menu, the standard “Print” dialog box for the Printer set as default appears. You can print the image from this dialog box. “Center Image” check box: Click this box to position the printed image in the center of the paper.

    If you select several images and then select “Index Print (N)” from the “File (F)” menu, the “Index Print” dialog box opens.     NC-400D PRINTER DRIVER for Windows UNINSTALLING Exif Viewer Quit all the currently running applications. Close all the files. Open the “My Computer” window and double-click “Add/Remove Programs” in the Control Panel. The “Add/Remove Programs Properties” window appears. Select the software to be uninstalled (Exif Viewer) and then click the [Add/Remove] button.

    Check that the NC-400D is correctly connected to the PC's SCSI interface and that it is switched on. If the NC-400D is not connected or is not switched on, switch off the PC, connect the NC-400D and switch it on before start up the PC again.

To use automatic printer detection, click the [Reference...] button. To specify the settings manually, enter the value directly and then click the [OK] button. Then proceed to step 10.

Depending on the software application that is using the printer driver, enabling these function settings may result in printed images that differ from what is shown on your screen.

Quit any application programs that are currently running. Load the enclosed CD-ROM into the PC’s CD-ROM drive. When the main menu appears, click the [Quit] button to exit the menu.
