Time and Date
This menu allows you to change the current time and date
displayed.
1. From the Home screen, press
Settings
Time and date.
2. Touch the Automatic time update pull-down list and
select one of the following:
•
: the phone automatically updates the time and date
Automatic
according to the current time zone using the network service.
• Prompt first: you are prompted for a time change, if available.
•
: you need to manually set the time and date
Manual only
according to the current time zone using the Set time menu.
3. Touch the Time zone field (only available if Time zone
updating is set to Manual only or Prompt first).
4. Select the 12H (12-hour) or 24H (24-hour) format.
5. Touch the Time field (only available if Time zone
updating is set to Manual only or Prompt first). On the
screen that displays, touch Hour, Minute, AM/PM, and
Set. Touch Wheel to use + and - to set the hour and
minute. Touch Keypad to return to keypad mode. Touch
Back to cancel.

6. Touch Date format and then choose DD/MM/YYYY, MM/
DD/YYYY, YYYY/MM/DD, or YYYY/DD/MM.
7. Touch the Date field (only available if Time zone
updating is set to Manual only or Prompt first). On the
screen that displays, touch Month, Day, Year, and Set.
Touch Wheel to use + and - to set the Month, Day, and
Year. Touch Keypad to return to keypad mode. Touch
Back to cancel.
8.
Touch Save to confirm your selections. Touch Back to
cancel all changes.
