3. Turn off the server and peripheral devices, and disconnect the power cord and
all external cables.
Attention:
In a dc power environment, only trained service personnel other
than Lenovo service technicians are authorized to connect or disconnect power
to the dc power supply. See the documentation that comes with each dc power
supply.
4. Pull the server out of the rack.
5. Remove the cover (see "Removing the cover" on page 56).
6. Disconnect any internal cables, as necessary.
7. Remove any adapters as necessary.
8. Locate the battery 1 on the system board.
