Bluetooth module
NOTE:
The Bluetooth module spare part kit does not include a Bluetooth module cable. The
Bluetooth module cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number 535757-001.
Description
Bluetooth 2.0 module
Bluetooth 2.1 module
Before removing the Bluetooth module, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet
and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the battery (see

Remove the following components:

Switch cover and keyboard (see

Palm rest (see

Hard drive (see
Remove the Bluetooth module:
1.
Disconnect the Bluetooth module cable (1) from the system board.
2.
Remove the Bluetooth module cable (2) from the routing path.
3.
Remove the Bluetooth module from the clip (3) that secures it to the base enclosure.
