Taking Pictures with the Zoom

Applicable modes:
You can zoom-out to record landscapes etc. in wide angle (Wide) or zoom-in to make
people and objects appear closer (Tele).
When using the interchangeable lens
(H-PS14042) that supports the power
zoom (electrically operated zoom)
When using the interchangeable lens
(H-FS1442A/H-FS45150) that do not
support the power zoom
¢1 The zoom speed varies depending on how far you move the zoom lever.
¢2 To perform zoom operations with the function lever, set [Function Lever]
[Custom] menu to [ZOOM].
¢3 Operation with the function lever is possible only when [Ex. Tele Conv.] in the [Rec] menu is
set to [ZOOM].
