Information regarding the hydraulic connection
&
Expansion vessel:
Use only a diaphragm expansion
vessel suitable for this purpose. The
expansion vessel must be approved
in accordance with current stan-
dards.
For calculating the inlet pressure of
the diaphragm expansion vessel,
see page 43.
&
Fill the brine circuit with heat trans-
fer medium (frost protection down to
–15 °C).
!
Please note
An excessively high glycol
concentration and air in the
primary circuit can lead to the
destruction of the brine circu-
lation pump (primary circuit
pump).
The glycol concentration of
the heat transfer medium
must not exceed 30 % (not
even temporarily).
Never use the brine circula-
tion pump for filling the sys-
tem, otherwise air could be
drawn into the system.
Installation sequence
(cont.)
The blow off and drain pipes should
terminate in a container capable of
holding the max. possible expansion
volume.
&
The components used must be
resistant to the heat transfer med-
ium (never use zinc-plated/galva-
nised pipes).
&
Brine/water heat pump:
Install a brine pressure switch or a
jumper between terminals 5 and 6
(in the top of the control panel).
&
Water/water heat pump (with inter-
mediate circuit):
– Connect a flow switch and possi-
bly a frost stat in series between
terminals 1 and 2. For this, remove
the jumper between terminals 1
and 2 .
!
Please note
Insufficiently high tempera-
tures or insufficient through-
put in the primary circuit can
result in frost damage on the
heat pump.
Install the frost stat and brine
pressure switch.
– Install a jumper between terminals
5 and 6 (in the top of the control
panel).
