Multi-boiler systems

Every boiler in a multi-boiler system should be equipped with a
Vitotronic 100 (type GC1). The Vitotronic 300-K (type MW1) is supplied
with one boiler (see pricelist) and should be installed separately.
The LON communication module must be fitted into the Vitotronic 100.

OIL/GAS BOILERS

Weather-compensated, digital boiler and heating circuit control unit:
■ For single boiler systems
■ For one system circuit and up to two heating circuits with mixer (a
maximum of 32 Vitotronic 200-H heating circuit control units can be
connected via the LON BUS)
An extension kit is required for each heating circuit with mixer.
■ For two-stage or modulating burners
■ With cylinder thermostat
or
Control of a primary store system with mixer assembly (only availa-
ble as an alternative to the control of a constant return temperature
raising facility with a regulated three-way valve)
■ With boiler protection function subject to boiler version:
– Therm-Control
– Shunt pump
– Control of a constant return temperature raising facility with a
regulated three-way valve (only available as an alternative to the
control of a primary store system with mixer assembly)
■ With integral diagnostic system
■ Programming unit with plain text prompts
■ Function extension (accessories):
To default an additional set boiler water temperature via 0 – 10 V
input
■ Via external contacts:
– Heating program changeover
– Requirement to default set boiler water temperature
– Blocking the burner
– Mixer "Open" or "Closed"
■ With capability to communicate via LON (order a LON communica-
tion module separately)
In multi-boiler systems with external control unit, the load-dependent
burner and boiler control as well as the cylinder thermostat must be
implemented by the overriding (external) control unit.
