AXCENTWire Menus
Type Menu
Choose the Type menu to display control system and device options. When you
select an option, the AXCENTWire Wiring Information window displays a blank
connector panel for that control system or device. Figure 12 shows the Type menu.
Axcent
—The AXCENTWire Wiring Information window displays 2 RS-
232/422 communication ports, 16 relays, 4 IR/serial ports, 5 solid state
input/output ports, and 2 single-channel volume control ports. Refer to the
AXCENT Integrated AXCESS System User Reference manual for detailed wiring
information.
Axcent2
—The AXCENTWire Wiring Information window displays 1 RS-
232/422/485 port, 1 RS-232/422 port, 2 RS-232 RTS/CTS ports, 12 relays, 8
IR/serial ports, and 6 input/output channels. Refer to the AXCENT 2 Integrated
AXCESS Controller manual for detailed wiring information.
AXB EM232
—The AXCENTWire Wiring Information window displays 1 RS-
232/422/485 port and 1 RS-232 CTS/RTS port. Refer to the AXB-EM232
Enhanced Master instruction manual for detailed wiring information.
AXB REL8
—When this menu option is selected, the AXCENTWire Wiring
Information window displays 8 relays. Refer to the AXB-REL8 AXCESS Relay
Controller instruction manual for detailed wiring information.
AXB VOL3
—The AXCENTWire Wiring Information window displays 3 line-
level audio input/output ports. Refer to the AXB-VOL3 Three-Channel Volume
Control manual for detailed wiring information.
AXB 232+
—The AXCENTWire Wiring Information window displays 1 RS-
232/422/485 port. Refer to the AXB-232+ RS-232/422 Interface instruction
manual for detailed wiring information.
AXB IRS4
—The AXCENTWire Wiring Information window displays 4
IR/serial control ports. Refer to the AXB-IRS4 instruction manual for detailed
