Lamp unit disposal
• Place the used lamp unit in the empw box from the new lamp unit.
• Keep the lamp unit out of reach of children and pets.
CAUTION:
Alwayshandlethe lampunit with care.
Thelampunit in thisTVwasdesigned for safe replacement
by consumers; however, i f the lampunit issubjected to intentional o r
accidental a buse(suchasexcessive mechanical a buse or handling
by childrenor pets),the unit maybreak,exposing sharpedgesor
pinch points.
• Dispose of the used lamp unit by the approved method for your
area.

LED indications
The green and red LED lights on the TV control
touchpad (on the lower right corner of the TV screen)
indicate the TV_ current status, as follows:
• Green ON = Control touchpad being pressed.
• Red ON = Power ON.
• Green and/or Red blinking (see table below fbr
condition and solution).

Condition
The lamp unit door is not
seated properly.
The lamp is not working
properly.
The lamp is not working
properly after the eighth
automatic restart (see
item #2).
For service personnel
only.
An abnormal temperature
increase has occurred.
Solution
Turn the POWER OFF and unplug the power cord.
Review "How to replace the lamp unit" on pages 57-59
to ensure that the lamp unit door is installed securely. If
the problem persists, contact a Toshiba Authorized
Service Center.
The TV automatically will try to restart itself eight times.
Turn the POWER OFF and then ON again. If the problem
)ersists, replace the lamp unit (see pages 57-59). If the
)roblem still persists, contact a Toshiba Authorized
Service Center.
Turn the POWER OFF and unplug the power cord. If the
problem persists, contact a Toshiba Authorized Service
Center.
Do not block or cover the slots or openings in the TV
cabinet.
If the problem persists consult a Toshiba Authorized
Service Center.
