If the source is connected to another Meridian unit, set
Comms type to 1C for a Meridian CD player, 2C for a
Meridian FM tuner, and 3C for a Meridian DVD player.
Otherwise set it to none.
If you have two Meridian source units of the same type you
can configure them to have different Comms addresses. You
can then select the appropriate source by specifying its
Comms address in the Comms address field.
The following additional options are available. You should only
change these with advice from your dealer:
Option
Delay for audio sources to
avoid DTS noise (DTS delay)
Only ever play DTS for this
source (two-channel
sources only)
Force this source to be
six-channel (multi-channel
sources only)
Description
Avoids the noise caused by
switching to a DTS audio
source.
Creates a video DTS source
that will avoid any DTS noise
when switching audio formats.
Select this to avoid automatic
preset switching if you are
using a non-Meridian source
on the MHR Smart Link input.
Option
Number of video frames of
delay to apply to audio
Poor digital audio source –
frequency out of range
Source uses validity flag
properly
Description
Adds a delay required by
certain video systems.
Select this if you have difficulty
locking to the source.
May reduce switching noise
on certain sources where this
is a problem.
