Now, compare the channelnumbers you havewritten in the VCR
PLUS+ CH. and CABLE/TV CH. columns.You'll notice that some
stations haveVCR Plus+ and Cable/TV channel numbers that are All L
the same, and other stations have channel numbers that do not i_ m

match.Where the channel numbers DO NOT match, you must tell
the TV/VCR the VCR Plus+ and Cable/TV channel numbers
according to the following steps.
• Make each entry within 60 seconds of the previous entry.

Press the COMBI button, then press the MENU button.

Press the PLAY/A button or the ST•PlY button to select
VCR SETUP, then press the F.FWD/I_ button.

Press the PLAY/& button or the ST•PlY button to select
VCR PLUS+ REP. MAP, then press the F.FWDil_ button.

Look at the lists you filled in on page 38. For stations whose
VCR Plus+ and Cable/TV channels do not match, press
the PLAY/A, button or the STOP/V button until the arrow
is beside theVCR Plus+ channel you need.Then, press the
Number buttons to enter the corresponding Cable/TV
channel from your list. Continue this processuntil you have
entered all the stations on your list.
Note: If you are usinga Cable BoyJDBS, the Cable/TV channelwill
be 03 or 04 (the Cable BoyJDBSoutput channel)for everyVCR
Plus+ channel.You must set the Cable Box/DBS to the channe_you
want to record; leavethe Cable Box/DBS on for the timer record-
ing.

ber, repeat the steps on this page.
To clear a Cable/TV channel num-
ber, repeat steps 3-5 on this page.
Then, press the CH(ennel) _/_
button to select it. Press the CLEAR
button, then press the STATUS/EXIT
button.
To select line input for the Ceble/TV
channel, press 0,0. A/V IN will
appear an the screen.
