Make sure .,,
• VCR power must be turned on.
• Turn on the TV and set the TV channel to the same
video output channel as located on the back of the
VCR. (CH 3 or 4)
• Press TV/VCR button so that "VCR" appears on the
display.
• Insert a cassette tape with its erase prevention tab in
place. (If necessary, rewind or fast forward the tape
to the point at which you want to begin recording.)

NOTE: When you record with a cable converter box,
the VCR channel must be selected to 3 or 4 then the
actual channel that you wish to record must be selected
on the cable converter box.

Select the tape speed

the VCR to select the desired
tape speed (SP/LP/SLP).

Begin recording
Press RECORD button. The red
"O" appears on the display.

Press STOP button when recording is completed.

NOTES:
• To prevent tape damage, after five minutes, the VCR
will automatically switch to the Stop mode. You may
review the time remaining with "11" marks on the TV
screen. Each "=="mark shows one minute.
To edit an unwanted segment from the already re-
corded portion of tape, press and hold REWIND but-
ton during the Pause mode until you have reached the
beginning of the unwanted segment. (If you rewind
past the beginning of the unwanted segment, press
and hold F.FWD button during the Pause mode until
you have reached it.) (Edit Search
