To Use the Dispenser
SelectCUBED, CRUSHED or WATER.
Press the glassgentlyagainstthetop
of the dispenser c radle.
Thespillshelfis notself-draining. Toreducewater
spotting, t he shelfand its grilleshouldbe cleaned
regularly.
If no wateris dispensed whentherefrigerator Ls
first installed, there may
beair in the waterline
,system. Press thedispenser a rmfor at leasttwo
minutesto remove trappedair from the waterline
and to fill the water,system. Toflush outimpurities
in the waterline,throw away thefirst sixglassfuls
of wate_
CAUTION" Never put fingersor any otherobjects
into theicecrusherdischarge opening.
Locking the Dispenser
Press the LOCKorLOCKCONTROLS pad for
3 secondsto lockthe dispenser a nd control panel.
To unlock,pressand hold the padagain for
3 seconds.
whenthe dispenser c radleispressed. F ormodels
with a bulb,if the light burnsout, it shouldbe
replacedwith a 6 watt 12Vmaximumbulb. For
LEDmodels,contactFactoryService.
Door Alarm
UseDoorAlarmto soundif eitherdoor isopen
for morethan 3 minutes. T healarmwillstop
oncethe door isclosed.ForLCD models,a popup
screenwillappear.Thealarmcan be silenced
bytouchingthe LCD screen.

Settings > Settings > Door Alarm
Access By: Pressing ON
Deactivate By: Pressing OFF.
Dispenser Light
TheLIGHTpadturns the night light in
thedispenser on and off.Thelightalsocomeson
Quick- Ice
Whenyouneedto speedup iceproduction, use
the QuickIcefeature. W hilethisfeatureisturnedon,
thefreezer fan runscontinuously f or 48 hours, o r
untilthefeatureisturnedOFF. During thisperiod,
iceproduction willincrease upto 40%.Models with
the integrated icefeaturesystemrequire at FIRST
USE at leasthalfan 8 oz.glass of iceto bedispensed
every 6 to 12 hours. T his will helptheicemaker f ill
the bucketproperlysothat dispensing is better.

Precise Fill (on some models)
Thiswater dispenser isequipped with a feature
called"precise fill."Thisfeatureallowsyouto
choosea precise amount ofwater (cupsor
ounces) t hat youwould likedispensed. Pints
and Litersare alsoavailable for LCD models.
LCDModels
AccessBy: Home> Options>Dispenser O ptions >
Precise Fill > SetAmount
Activate By:Usingthe arrowbuttonsto select
the desiredamount.Press MORE UNITS to select
betweenCUPS, OUNCES, PINTS or LITERS.
ffyou selectedOUNCES pressthe A or V pad
to selectthe numberof ouncesyouwould like
to havedispensed between2-99 ounces.
Thedefaultis8 ounces.
If you selectedCUPS pressthe A Orv, pad
to selectthe amountyouwould liketo have
dispensed. Theyare displayed as 1/4, 1/3,1/2, 2/3
and 3/4,with the highestamount being163/4
cups.Thedefaultis 1 cup.
O Press the cupagainstthe cradleand water
will begindispensing, tt will automaticallystop
whenthe amountset hasbeendispensed.
Thedisplaywill showthe amountof water
dispensed, beep,then resetafter 5 seconds.
NOTE: Donot leavethe dispenser unattended
whenwater isbeingdispensed.

dispensed,just r emovethe cupfrom the
cradle. T hedisplaywill showthe amountthat
hasbeendispensed for 5 seconds, t f the cup
switch ispressed againwithin that time,the
dispenser willcontinueup to the set amount.
tf not,the displaywill returnto the set
amount.
