• Pressure requirement: 40-120 psi (2.8-8.2 bar), non-shock
• Temperature: 33-100°F (0.6-38°C)
• How rate: 0.9 gpm (3.14 Ipm)
General
Installation/Operation/Maintenance
Requirements
• Hush new cartridge at fuil flow for 4-1/2 gallons (about five minutes)to purge
trapped ain
• Replace cartridge when flow becomes too slow.
• Protect from freezing by removing filter cartridge
when temperatures
are
expected to drop below 40°F (4.4°C). Do not install systems in areas where
ambient temperatures
may go above 100°F or below 40°R Do not install
on a hot water supply.

Notices
• Installation instructions are included with the product when shipped.
• This drinking water system must be maintained according to manufacturer's
instructions, including replacement of filter cartridges.
• Do not use with water that is microbiologicaliy
unsafe or of unknown quality with-
out adequate disinfection before or after the system. Systems certified for cyst
reduction may be used on disinfected water that may contain filterable cysts.
• Thecontaminants or other substancesremoved or reduced bythis water
treatment system are not necessarilyinyour water.
• Checkfor compliancewith the applicablestate and locallaws and regulations.
• Notethat whilethe testingwas performedunderstandard laboratory conditions,
actual performance may vary. Systemsmust be installedand operated in
accordance with manufacturer's recommended proceduresand guidelines.
• Installationand use MUST comply with all state and local plumbingcodes.Do not
install if water pressureexceeds120psi. Ifyour water pressureexceeds80 psi
(552kPa), y ou shouldinstall a pressure-limitingvalve.Contact a plumbing
professionalifyou are uncertain how to checkyour water pressure.
• Donot install where water hammer conditionsmay occur. Ifwater hammer
conditionsexistyou must installa water hammer arrester.Contact a plumbing
professionalifyou are uncertain how to check far this condition.
• Wherea backflow preventiondevice is installedon a water system,a devicefar
controlling pressuredue to thermal expansionmust be installed.
