<3> Step-recording your song
1. In the song edit menu screen, move the
cursor to the "STEP REC" icon and press
[ENTER].
The song step recording screen appears.

2. Use the VALUE dial to select the first
pattern you want to record in your song.
The screen shows the time signature (BEAT)
and number of measures (LENGTH) in the
selected pattern.

] to advance to the next
step, and use the VALUE dial to select the
next pattern you want to record in your
song.
* You can't advance to the next step by skipping over an
unrecorded step.
(1) POSITION
This indicates the position within the song of
the first measure of the pattern you've
selected for the step currently targeted for
editing.
Press [
] to return to step 1.
Press [
] to return to the preceding step.
Hold down [SHIFT] and press [
advance to an unrecorded step.
