If the ends of the levers hit against each other, while in the drive position
(levers rotated in as far as possible), make adjustments by moving the

3.7 POSITION DISCHARGE CHUTE.

3.7.1
Loosen two (2) 5/16" nylock nuts attaching discharge chute. Lower the discharge
chute into position. Retighten nylock nuts until chute is snug but can pivot freely.

3.8 SERVICE ENGINE.

Engine is shipped with oil, check oil level and if necessary fill to the appropriate
level with SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40, AP1 service class SF or SG for operating in
temperatures above 0 F (-18 C). See Engine Operator's Manual.
3.9 SERVICE ENGINE COOLANT (Kawasaki Liquid-cooled Units Only)
Machine is shipped filled with engine coolant.
Spray or steam from hot, pressurized liquid in
the engine cooling system may cause severe
burns. Allow engine to cool completely before
removing radiator cap or servicing any
component of the cooling system.
Engine coolants are toxic if ingested. Flush
spills with large amounts of water to dilute and
remove. Keep out of reach of children and
pets.
With machine on level surface and with cool engine , remove radiator cap
(under hood) and add a 50/50 mix of ethylene glycol and water until liquid level
is as high as possible without overflowing. Reinstall radiator cap, making sure
that the cap is completely seated by pressing down firmly while turning until the
cap stops. Add 50/50 coolant mix to overflow bottle on the left side of the
engine as required to bring the level up to the indicator line on the bottle.
